Haven Peaks
A website built from scratch for a private luxury travel company in Northern Pakistan — photography-led, with a guided enquiry flow in place of a booking engine.
The Story
Challenge, approach, build.
The Challenge
Haven Peaks designs private, tailor-made journeys through Northern Pakistan: helicopter excursions, luxury camping, photography expeditions and family retreats, across destinations such as Hunza, Skardu, Fairy Meadows, Chitral and the Kalash valleys. Nothing about these trips is off the shelf, so the brief was to build the website from scratch and make it feel as considered as the journeys themselves.
The Approach
Luxury travel is bought on feeling first and logistics second, so we let the landscape lead. The homepage opens on a full-bleed lake-and-mountain photograph with one headline and two calls to action, then moves through the brand's philosophy, six destinations, and six styles of journey. Because every trip is tailored, there is no cart: the main action is “Plan Your Journey”, a short guided enquiry that asks a few questions and promises a reply from a personal travel designer.
The Build
The site is hand-built as static pages: HTML, a single stylesheet and a small amount of JavaScript. It pairs an elegant serif for headlines with a clean sans-serif for body text on a deep navy-and-gold palette, with one page for each destination. The Tours page can be filtered by duration and region, the Plan Your Journey form runs in four steps, and a WhatsApp button stays within reach on every screen size. Structured data and a descriptive meta description are in place for search.
